Most trees wanting to be removed over 5 meters will need council approval unless they are part of the exclusions list, check with you local council for provisions.

Dead branches and 10% of tree may be removed without council approval.You can also remove any branches over hanging a dwelling. To remove anything more, council approval must be granted. You can download an application from your local council website or contact them directly. Tree reports may also be used in conjunction with an application and will only help you with the application.
